Who We Are
UJANA AFRIKA is a youth led Non-Profit organization that seeks to be TVET Champions & a global agent of education reforms among the youth in collaboration with Industry, Government and Academia through Advocacy,
Mentorship and providing opportunities to the youth for Re-Skilling. It is a platform for action-oriented and results-driven youth; whereby inspiring young leaders, change-makers, start-uppers, social entrepreneurs, and youth activists attempt to demonstrate motivations in changing their societies for better.
UJANA AFRIKA builds and cultivates a community of change leaders who see that Kenya now requires everyone to be a change maker. We believe that together, we collaborate to transform institutions and cultures to support change making for the good of society. We foster conversations among young people by offering them platforms where they can express their ideas and propose solutions and policy interventions to major public issues.
In addition to advocating for the participation of young people at the highest levels of decision-making in its Promoting Youth Leadership area of work, the Foundation empowers young leaders through ensuring they are in school and that they are able to access the much needed support to fulfill their potential. We believe that our Youth should not only be allowed to dream but also have resources to ensure their dreams come to fruition.
